In the previous round, China forced gamers to sign up their accounts using their real names and IDs. Well now, China is taking a step further by establishing a military-run boot camp in Beijing for Internet Addiction. Say what?
Parents all over China are taking their internet high children to this camp to help defrag them. Supposedly, anyone who “consecutively uses the Web for 6 hours a day for three straight months is addicted”. I guess that makes me a victim. Can I apply for handicap parking now?
Honestly, I think it’s a step to far to make a boot camp for these kids. As long as they’re not doing anything illegal and doing well in school, I see no problem. And if they’re not, beat them (totally kidding, maybe)!

Dude, doesn’t this make most white-collared working people addicts, too? Ugghhh…
I guess they differentiate work and leisure time on the computer so if you’re on it for 8 hours for work every day, it’s not an addiction. But if you’re on it playing games and blahblah, it is. ~__~;;

then again, i don’t deny that i am hopelessly addicted
6 hours is nothing.
