Japanese pop artist Ayumi Hamasaki, aka Japanese Britney Spears, will be releasing her newest album on USBs. CDs were so 2008.

Despite the USB being smaller than an ant, it is quite cute especially being studded in diamonds her signature logo. The USB is 2GBs whereas the album will only take 800MBs. Yey storage space~! More »

Oh my. LG’s new GD900 touchscreen phone just showed up at MWC 2009, and it’s quite a stunner, with its brushed aluminum outer, rounded edges, and chrome bezel - but the real highlight is the transparent keypad that glows faintly when slid out. More »

Babies are adorable but they are also the prime ingredient to sleep deprivation. Well never fear, baby calculator is here.

The baby cry analyzer helps you take care of your baby by telling what it wants. By measuring the frequencies of the wails, time between cries and patterns, the calculator tells you if its hungry, lonely or cold. More »

Nintendo’s new DS revision, curiously called the DSi (speculation has the marketing department shooting down the original iDS name for fear of repercussion from a certain media player company), has just been given an official release date: April 5. More »

LG and Swarovski banded together to bring you more bling than Lil’ John’s grill.

The bluetooth headset is honestly nothing special. It’s basically a big triangle with a few diamonds and two logos. While diamonds are a girl’s best friend, I can’t imagine any classy girl putting this on her ear. More »

A new initiative led by the Group Special Mobile Association (GSMA) to adopt a micro-USB charging standard to all cell phones has been endorsed by 17 major mobile companies and will be implemented by January 1, 2012. Not only would this save you the pain of going through a painful replacement process should you misplace your precious unique charger, but also reduce heft by combining both USB cable with the power charger, a feature that’s curiously absent from many phones. For those of you who can’t remember a birthday to save their life, this ring will help burn it into your memory.

Whenever you set the date, the ring will “heat up” to 120 degrees Fahrenheit 24 hours ahead of time all day for 10 seconds. Supposedly the ring heats up enough to “cause discomfort”, but doesn’t burn you. Cool thing though that it uses your body heat to recharge the ring. More »

Sony Ericsson unveiled their new Idou media phone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona - not much information yet except for the 12 megapixel (!) camera with xenon flash, 3.5 inch 16:9 touchscreen (640×320 resolution), and that it’s going to run some version of the Symbian OS. More »

Samsung’s new Blue Earth handset isn’t just about the solar panel on the back - after all, I normally stick my phone where the sun don’t shine (my pocket), and my room is always kept at an ambient pitch black to maximize contrast on my computer monitor. The highlight is in the entire package - Samsung really pulled out all the stops on this one - in addition to the solar panel which reportedly will charge the phone enough to make a phone call, More »

The idea of impressing girls with electronics doesn’t always go together, but if you’re one of those lucky guys, instead of showering her with those old and tired chocolates (diet) and flowers (they die and are a pain to clean up), why not pick up something that’s not only useful and will last beyond February? It’s important to strike a balance More »

I’m sure you gamers out there with kids have purchased a Wii for your young ones but are they complaining that it’s too big for their cute little hands? Fear no more! There is a solution.

Wii mod master Dhreck has a tutorial up on how to build a smaller version of the Wiimote. It looks a bit difficult but if done correctly, the results are worthwhile. Definitely better than his hemp Wii mote.

Legos are awesome. You could building anything with them, but who knew anyone would build a biker helmet to look like a lego man?

Over at Design Boom, Sebastian Errazuriz (artist designer) has created a few products that are awesome and completely out of the box, one of which is the biker lego helmet.

Someone give this man an award plx?

Apple sucks once again! Turns out the big shiny store with free internet has banned one of the most visited websites on the web, Facebook. I guess Mark Zuckerberg defriended Steve Jobs. Omg! FB drama!

But really their reasoning is that the ban will allow more time for other customers to play with the displays. Honestly, I don’t know how happy this will make customers since they’ve already banned Myspace (2007) but free internet is free internet.

Update! Turns out Gizmodo is a big liar. Facebook is still accessible in Apple Stores.

The Bandai Diorama is the coolest thing ever!

Okay maybe really. Especially not for 198,000 Yen ($2230 USD) but the Diorama is a speaker with a replica of the Japanese district Ginza in 1955 sitting right on top. The replica may not be quite the eye candy as the oppai speakers but it does light up and make noise.
