Now if you want the retail disk, releasing on October 22nd, the pricing changes a bit.
-$199.99 for Home Premium
-$299.99 for Professional Edition
-$319.99 for Ultimate
Starting tomorrow, June 26th, you can pre-order Home Premium and Professional upgrades for $49.99 and $99.99 but they are extremely limited so try to get them as soon as you can.
Participating PC manufacturers will be offering cheap or free upgrades from tomorrow on for customers who buy a PC with Vista or XP installed. Sony and HP have already announced they will offer free upgrades.
Engadget is offering a 100 free spots for an upgrade on their site. They’ll have a post at noon with details and the free upgrade offers. Check out their site here.
