If you’re a Verizon customer or a Blackberry user, your time has finally come. After a few weeks of only Apple’s iPhone 3GS and HTC news, Blackberry users can finally rejoice with the upcoming Blackberry Tour releasing July 12th.

Verizon is going to be the first cell phone carrier to release Blackberry’s new Tour in the United States. Sprint customers will have to wait another week till July 20th. Verizon is currently taking pre-orders for the new Blackberry device with a price tag of $199.99 on a new two-year contract.

Verizon confirmed the date and price through a press release:

The highly anticipated global 3G BlackBerry(R) Tour(TM) from Research In Motion (RIM) will hit Verizon Wireless Communications Stores on July 12. Verizon Wireless announced today that customers can pre-order the BlackBerry Tour for $199.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement online at www.verizonwireless.com/tour.
