Since the release of the iPhone 3GS, it’s been dissected, literally to see its specs and the hardware inside. In the process, it’s been reported that the iPhone 3GS has the hardware to support shooting 720p HD videos but Apple decided against it.

AppleInsider reported a few days ago that Apple will possibly drop prices on the upcoming iMac line. The rumors come after Apple had a price cut on their Macbook Pro lines during their World Wide Development Conference in June.
The Appleinsider report also states the price cuts would be somewhere between 7%-10%, which is what the Macbook Pro line saw. More »

The news of Michael Jackson’s death shut down Google for over 25 minutes today. Google actually thought they were being cyber attacked.
“The spike in searches related to Michael Jackson was so big that Google News initially mistook it for an automated attack,” R.J. Pittman, director of Product Management for Google, wrote in a blog post. “As a result, for about 25 minutes yesterday, when some people searched Google News they saw a ‘We’re sorry’ page before finding the articles they were looking for.” More »

Buffalo is joining Seagate and Western Digital in a portable on the go external hard drives competition. Buffalo’s new lineup comes in three colors - black, red and white with upto 500 GB capacity.
The Buffalo drives are about the size of a small paperback book and come with a USB cable that wraps inside when not in use.
These small yet flashy looking hard drives will cost around $200 and will be available in August.
