Growing up, trips to the supermarket involved playing with the shopping carts, pushing and hopping on them, pretending like I’m driving. That dream could become a reality because of a MIT student by the name of Charles Guan. Guan has created the first go-kart ever, using a supermarket shopping cart and some heavy duty batteries. The name of the Kart is LOLrio Kart, a name similar to that of the popular Nintendo series, Mario Kart.
Maybe some day in the future we’ll all be riding in one of these to save the environment. Check out the videos below:
