Google Voice has not reached everyone yet, I’m still waiting for mine, but according to BoyGeniusReports, some new features had already started popping up. One of these new features is the ability to change phone numbers.
The feature was introduced for current Google Voice users under the settings tab. There is a fee for those looking to change numbers, it’s $10. That’s a very small fee to pay considering phone companies charge more. Plus it’s a great way to avoid calls from that annoying ex-girlfriend.
The change number feature also allows you to keep your previous number for 90 days, so you won’t have to announce to the world you’re number is changing. You can do it on a day by day process.
