It’s everyone’s dream to have a pet of their own but it’s tough with all the darn responsibilities. Well, now it’s possible for even the busiest person to get one. Sega Toys has created a newer, more realistic version of the artificial and very mechanical cat.

Dream Cat Venus is the newest on the market and its turning a lot of heads. Venus, unlike its predecessor Smile, has sensors in its head so that it can react when it is petted and purrs to certain words. It’s also a lot cheaper to own and you won’t be sneezing when you’re around it.

This furry creature is available for sale on July 30th in Japan. It’ll put you out about $110 but I guess it’ll be worth it when it purrs. It seems like a cool idea if you’re into robotic cats but imagine waking up in the middle of the night to find it moving on its own, now that would downright creepy.
