The Japanese have done it again. This time they’ve managed to create a robot that can make noodles in 2 minutes. Momozon Robot Rame was created by Yoshihira Uchida, who owns the noodle shop he works in. His robot allows customers to choose from over 40 million flavor combinations.
The robot cost Uchida about $210,000 to make but saves him time and energy, not to mention creating the perfect soup. Of course everything can’t be done by the Momozan robot, Uchida still has to make the noodles, while the robot creates the customized soup, ordered by the customer from computer screen. He says he plans to make the noodle making process automated sometime in the future but for now he’s sticking to the robot making his perfect broth. For $5 a bowl of ramen, you get the experience unlike any other. Now only if Tampopo had this robot to create her noodles, she’d never have to go through all the trouble of finding the perfect noodle.
