Fifteen year old Alexa Longuiera will forever have an idiotic and embarrassing story to tell after falling into a manhole while tapping out a text message. Now, Alexa’s parents are trying to find someone to blame, so they are suing the city for their daughter’s doltish behavior.

This is obviously not the city’s fault as they have no control over situations like these, which makes the case that much more unnecessary. There is a very slim chance that they would claim victory in the case against the city but at least they got their 15 minutes of fame. As for Alexa Longueira, this will be a good lesson for her that texting and walking is not the best of ideas. Jeez, talk about multitasking.
