LG, the 3rd largest cell phone manufacturer in the world is planning to launch an App Store of their own but will be released first in South Korea. Currently, the LG application store holds 1,400 apps, available in 15 different languages, but LG is determined to up that number to 2,000 apps in 24 different languages by the end of this year.
LG is allowing developers to program their LG devices with SDK (Software Development Kit) and will be ready to use. This is a great idea for LG to allow its phones to do more and advance in the phone market, maybe help in their mission to defeat their tech rival Samsung and take over the number two slot in the world. Seems like every major phone company is releasing their own version of an App Store, all hoping to capitalize on it like Apple did with their App Store.

I think I’m in the wrong business. I should be writing mobile apps.
