The Pentagon is working with a Maryland Company, Robotic Technology Inc., to develop a robot that feeds on organic material on the battlefield. The robot, also know as Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robot (EATR) will consume anything organic from grass, wood, and even dead bodies to power itself. Yeah, the good old human flesh.

Not only can it run on Biomass but it can run on conventional fuels gasoline, propane, coal, and cooking oil. This is a crazy or very productive (depends on who you ask) idea for the military to design technology that can survive on its own for years. Seems like a logical and more efficient plan than having soldiers out there. It appears that robots are taking over every part of human operation.

Maybe this technology can finally bring home some troops. Of course it would be silly to think some new robot technology can stop a war, but it might decrease the number of soldiers killed and increase efficiency in the battlefield. I don’t know if I really like the idea of the robot eating human flesh. We all know it’s going to be chomping on the enemy, and the thought of it just seems somewhat barbaric. I smell a game coming out of this technology, very soon.
