Amazon is finally taking care of their Kindle customers and it only took a lawsuit to do so. Amazon is finally dropping the $200 replacement fee they charged Kindle users for cracked screens. Amazon did not originally cover it under their warranty but had to when a Kindle owner filed a lawsuit claiming the cover design of the Kindle was the reason for the cracked screen.

The lawsuit is still pending in a Seattle courtroom, and might turn into a class-action lawsuit even though Amazon has dropped their replacement fee on cracked Kindle screens. Has anything happened to your Kindle screen? if so, now might be a good time to get it replaced for free.
