I’m not a fan of calendars. I don’t have one on my desk nor do I like scheduling things. I do my best to remember things but a new calendar concept by Oscar Diaz, just might make me get a wall calender. Diaz’s calendar concept is called Ink Calendar and it displays the days of the calendar in a pretty cool way, using ink and a special kind of paper. (Pictures and more details after the break)

Every month you start off with an ink well. Once the special paper is dipped, the timed capillary action shows each date as they go by. I have to say, I’m pretty stoked about this calendar, even though it’s not a gadget.

A different color shade is used for each month. For example: green during the spring months, orange and red during the summer months and blue during the winter months. The Ink Calendar by Oscar Diaz is currently at the CĂrculo de Bellas Artes exhibition in Madrid. If this concept takes off, I’d love to have one, although I could see this in the homes of celebs and costing a pretty penny.
