Hooray for Mac and Blackberry users! Today Blackberry announced they’re bringing full Blackberry support to the Mac OS platform. This is great news for all Blackberry users who own Macs, they no longer have to use software like MediaSync to update and sync their Blackberries.
Blackberry hasn’t said anything about an exact release date but Engadget says it’ll be released sometime in September. The news alone should get fans of Blackberries and Mac OS excited.
Here are some of the rumored features to be included in the Mac OS suite:
- Sync iTunes
- Add and remove apps
- Perform firmware update
- Create backups and restore from them
- Manage multiple BlackBerrys at the same time
This gives me another reason to get a Blackberry in the future, cuz I doubt I will ever use a PC for work at home.

That’s great. Lots of people use Macs so this is a very good move.
wow! this is pretty cool. I’m amazed by how many things are currently using the mac os x platform and how they are connected to mac.
