Here’s some very interesting news. According to Scott Moritz from TheStreet, Apple is planning to release an Apple tablet with Verizon. Moritz says that the Apple and Verizon “won’t be as tightly integrated” compared to Apple and AT&T.

Of course the problem here is once a phone company gets involved, there’s some form of data charge ready to eat the wallets of consumers. Verizon is going to subsidize the cost of the new touch pad to customers, while applying a monthly fee and probably a two-year contract, to the device.

If this thing does come to fruition, expect many to jump on Verizon’s bandwagon just because of its superb coverage. We’ll have to wait and see what Apple and Verizon end up doing. Even though this is just a rumor, Scott Moritz seems really convinced Apple and Verizon will be creating something big together. We’ll be waiting.
