I’m a big fan bluetooth headsets. I’m a bigger fan of crazy technology that might or might not work. Take for example the Orb Bluetooth headset. It’s really a ring that somehow transforms into a bluetooth headset when you get a phone call.

The release date for these are supposed to be early 2010 and I would love to give it a try. Based on the picture above, I don’t really know how this thing will actually function. I mean there’s not much holding it together. There wil be two versions of the Orb, the base and the deluxe. The Deluxe edition will have a Flexible Organic Light Emitting Device (FOLED) screen for call screening, calendar, and voice-to-text feature. The base edition will be available for $129, while the deluxe will go for $175.
