Looks like the Palm Pre will finally be heading over to Verizon. The Pre, which has been exclusive only to Spring will break out and join the biggest wireless carrier in the U.S. according to a conference analyst call.

Expect it to hit Big Red between Q1 and Q2 of next year. There’s no exact date for when it’ll be released but expect it to make waves. Palm has been touting the Pre as the next big thing, even running ads comparing it directly to the iPhone.

This will be great news for Verizon customers looking for a new phone other than the Blackberries and LG phones Verizon keeps advertising. Sprint on the other hand might be getting an updated version of the Pre. Will Verizon get that or would it be Sprint exclusive again? We’ll have to wait and find out.
