A few days ago, we reported that Bill Gates had trouble using Facebook and ended up closing his account. Gates said he was getting too many friend requests, over ten thousand , and was overwhelmed by it. But unlike Gates, Martha Stewart decided to do a little Facebook bashing, saying “I don’t have to “befriend” and do all that other dippy stuff that they do on Facebook.”

Looks like alliances are being made with social networking sites.

While many prefer Facebook for its ability to post pictures, share with friends and families, comment on eachother’s wall, many celebrities have taken the Twitter route. Twitter seems to be the new medium in which celebrities and companies are reaching out to their fans and responding to them in a timely manner.

I have both accounts and love them equally for different reasons. Facebook is personal to me, only seen by my friends and family and share pictures and videos of things I do on my personal time. Twitter is somewhat the opposite. I don’t share a lot of personal information but try to reach out the followers I have, which include friends and family. Twitter is more for general topics, things I’m wondering a loud. What about you?

Well celebrities are being a bit stupid when it comes to facebook. That why they have the account page where a celebrity can make their FAN PAGE. How stupid can you get? As for Twitter, I don’t care to have one. I have too many accounts to other websites as it is. Famous persons…it is not like they don’t have their OFFICIAL WEBSITE which looks and does the same thing fb and twit do.

I don’t have any of them :P I use bebo though..
