Since Apple doesn’t have any peripherals for their games, 3rd party companies end up making them. That’s the case with the Steering Wheel for the iPhone by CTA Digital. They’ve created a steering wheel accessory for the iPhone and its racing games.
The cost of the wheels will vary depending on which version you end up getting. CNET thinks the stand alone wheel without the suction cup (to hold the wheel in place) will cost around $20, while the wheel with the suction cup attached will run you around $25. These wheels are reminiscent of the Mario Kart Wii Wheels. I was a big fan of those wheels but I don’t play any racing games on my iPhone, so I won’t be putting down a Jackson for these. These are also some pretty expensive wheels when you consider the Nintendo Wii wheels for Mario Kart were only $10. If you’d like to see how they work, check out the video below.
