Sony has always been ahead of the curve in many areas in the field of technology, when their products are breaking apart into a gazillion pieces. Now they’re trying to test out something a little different with the introducton of the Party-Shot personal photographer dock.
The dock works with DSC-WX1 and DSC-TX1 Cyber Shot digital cameras and can be programmed to tilt to 24 degrees and pan a full 360 degrees, which is truly amazing for an automated camera dock. In order for the camera to not take random pictures, the Party-Shot personal photographer also has face detection technology which focuses on the people who are in the photo. The Party-Shot device will be available in September from Sony for $150.
