Did you ever have to pull over to the side of the road when driving and change a tire? If you have, you’ll know that it’s mighty hard to change a tire with one hand while holding a flashlight in the other. A solution has finally arrived from Joby, the same company who made the Gorillapod flexible tripod. They have released the Gorillatorch which is essentially a mag light atop a tripod that can attach to almost anything.
The snakelike rubberized and magnetized feet allow you stick the light to the side of the making it a lot easier to handle in spots where putting a light is nearly impossible. Not only does the Gorillatorch have these super feet, it also sports a 65 Lumen LED torch, has a dimmer switch, is water resistance, infinitely adjustable angles, it is collapsible, and it runs for 20 hours on only 3 AA batteries.
Never again will you have to suffer the darkness when changing a tire or setting up a tent and it pretty much sells itself at a price of only $30. Doesn’t the Gorillatorch on the car in that picture below look like something out of Minority Report?
