Blackberry Bold folks on AT&T will finally be getting a nice update with features that include Visual Voicemail. Visual Voicemail, for those who don’t know, is the voicemail service that was first launched with the Apple iPhone 1st generation. It gives you the ability to check a specific voicemail, without having to listen to previous voicemails. It also shows the name of the person who left the voicemail and lets users delete the ones they do not want to hear.
But that’s not the only feature on the update, although it’s the major one. Users will have the option to choose manually if they want to stay on the 2G or 3G networks. There will also be icons for for applications such as MoviTV, Mobile Banking, Scrabble and Tetris.
While this isn’t a major update for Blackberry Bold users, it does offer Visual Voicemail, a feature that definitely comes in handy.
