Sharp has been hiding in the shadows while Sony, Apple, and other tech giants have been taking the lead with their announcements and snazzy new products. Well, Sharp is trying to make it back into the spotlight with their new MID NetWalker PC-Z1 Netbook, which is a rather small and portable version of what looks like standard netbook.

The Netwalker features a 1024×600 pixel display, an 800 MHz Freescale chip, 4GB of flash storage, and 512 MB of RAM. Performance wise, the Sharp MID Netwalker Netbook is feeble and can’t stand up to the performance of machines from Asus and MSI. The Netwalker has a real QWERTY keyboard and is very pocket friendly. Whats amazing about this device is that it has a 10 hour battery life and 3 second start up time. This will likely put Sharp back in the game. A price around $500 is expected for this device.
