It seems like the largest cell phone manufacturer and software provider will be joining together to bring desktop applications to the handsets. Today, Microsoft and Nokia announced a partnership to bring Microsoft Office and other related software to the Symbian software, which Nokia implements in their cell phone and smartphones. More »

When you think of photography, you never think of quirky cameras. But this Japanese police-issue camera takes it into a stranger level. The camera, the DORYU 2-16, has camera lenses attached to a gun. It’s a pistol camera! More »

Microsoft Zune HD has hit the net with a bunch of early reviews. Some of the prominent online tech sites have gotten a chance to play with the device and they’ve written a few things about the device. Most of the reviews are positive and think the Microsoft Zune HD has a chance to compete with Apple’s iPod Touch. More »

Well, well, look what stupid device we have now. It’s called the Thiphone and it straps around your thighs to hold your iPhone. Thiphone’s slogan is “Touch Screen requires two hands or one hand and a thigh”. How weird does that sound? More »

Green energy is now going portable with the Sun Drive. You can still save the planet and lower your carbon footprint with this small 2 inch USB drive, created by Korea’s Zyrus. The Sun drive has solar panels on both sides and stores energy to charge on your digital camera, cell phone, or MP3 player as long as you have a USB to connect to the Sun Drive. It can supply most devices with approximately 35 hours of power and can charge your cell phone for 100 minutes of talk time and will hold up until the next recharge. More »

Microsoft has released their new logo and I’m wondering who they hired to design the damn thing. The logo is just a bunch of colors without any real creativity behind it. The Energizer Bunny has forever been known as the one who keeps on going but the truth has been revealed. Panasonic’s Evoia is the true winner, traveling a total of 14.82 miles for 24 hours around the Le Mans track, 5.6 times. This completely beats out any of the Energizer Bunny’s records. Evoia did not travel at break-neck speeds but instead traveled at a rate of 0.6 mph for a full 24 hours on Panasonic EVOLTA AA alkaline batteries. This has got to be a new record for ‘distance covered by toy’ because, I’ve never seen anything this amazing. More »

We’ve all heard the whistling kettle, screaming when the water is done boiling. Thanks to Naoki Kawamoto’s Music Kettle, we can now listen to a nice tune when our water is done boiling. Although this is a nice and peaceful way to enjoy your tea, the single whistle of the conventional kettle is what kept you on your feet. More »

If you’re looking for the ultimate rocking chair, then give the new PRC a look. It’s called the Personal Rockin’ Computer even though it’s really a place to sit, without any computers. The only computer that’ll be near that “chair” will be your laptop, while you sit and use it. More »
