Duracell, the battery manfacturer has come out with their very own energy drink. As if Red Bull and Monster weren’t enough, here comes Duracell with their rather unusual metaphor of everlasting batteries and a oversized battery full of jitter juice.

The can, designed exactly like a Duracell battery, is filled with all of the good stuff energy drinks have, caffeine, taurine, B vitamins and sugar. Its good to know there’s no mercury in it. This is a smart marketing strategy and is a great way for Duracell to tap into another market. Who’s next in line for a energy drink, Energizer? More »

It gives you the ability to check a specific voicemail, without having to listen to previous voicemails. Sony’s been getting a lot of press the past week because of the PS3 Slim and the price cut on the current Playstation 3, but Sony’s head of Computer Entertainment, Kazuo Hirai, revealed in an interview that the PS3 Motion Controller is coming in Spring 2010.

Hirai let the motion controller news slip during the interview when he discussed Sony’s 10-year success plan, which the PS3 Slim was intended to help bring back some buzz. Of course there’s reasons behind why Sony hasn’t yet released the Motion Controller, software and games. There aren’t any games that’ll work with the controller and a new software would be needed to make it compatible with the games. Releasing the controller without games or tested hardware would push Sony back, which something they can’t afford to do. More »

Apple’s Snow Leopard hasn’t even hit shelves and analysts are already predicting the revenue Mac OS X Snow Leopard will bring in. Of course that’s their job, one I wouldn’t mind having but sometimes they just say the most obvious things. Here’s what the analysts are saying about Snow Leopard, which hits store shelves on Friday.

The 40 million plus install base and with unit sales of up to 5 million (predicted), Snow Leopard will add a revenue of over $66 million to Apple’s quarterly income. Now that’s information I wasn’t aware of and wouldn’t mind hearing. Now let’s get to some of the obvious parts. More »

Take the common exploding battery, for instance; what happens when that trick gets played out? One creative option would be to find the closest source of natural gas and ignite it from afar, which is what one New York gentleman’s Sony Ericsson (a classic P910i, we believe) has taken to doing…Engadget

As if smoking wasn’t already bad for you, here comes a butane lighter that is the same size and shape of a cigarette. This exact cigarette lookalike allows you to buy a pack of cigarettes and light one up then put the lighter right into the pack!

This saves you a small amount of pocket room and allows you to just take your cigarette pack when you leave the house, no more searching for a lighter or matches. This is a smart idea for smokers who constantly misplace their lighters, just don’t give away the lighter as a cigarette or try to light the lighter itself. The Cigarette Lighter is available for a low price of $1.50 on DealExtreme. More »

The Xbox 360 Elite looks awesome with its black shell and silver chrome, but the red Xbox 360 looks so muh better. Thats right, a red Xbox 360. Picasa user ‘Richard’ modified his Xbox 360 to look identical to a rocketship or perhaps a deadly weapon.

The case is bright red with canisters on the side that look like thrusters on a rocketship. At first glance, you wouldn’t even know that it was an Xbox 360. Richard also added pipes on the back of the Xbox, making it look even more like a weapon. The red design looks amazing, and a lot better than the white and green on the original and black and chrome on the Elite. Richard has got some imagination and great design ethics but he has to make sure that his Xbox 360 won’t ever die on him because there is no way Microsoft is accepting a red rocketship/weapon. Building a house out of a game you like is a little extreme but when it threatens your security, its just dangerous. That’s exactly what architect Sou Fujimoto did, he built a house based on the game Jenga. Yeah, Jenga the game that requires you to stack small wood blocks until the structure falls down.

Like the game, the house that requires the homeowner to add blocks, to increase the size of the overall structure. The Jenga house is designed with cedar blocks that measure up to 35 cm each. This looks like a very fun place to be and even more fun when the blocks get really tall. More »
