3D is becoming bigger and bigger everyday and is showing up a lot more in movies, so why not in video games? Well, that’s exactly what the PlayStation 3 will be bringing next year. The great people over at Sony are bringing a 3D mode to the console, allowing all existing games to play in 3D.

Although Sony will be doing their part to bring 3D to you, your TV will abandon you. See, in order for your games to run in 3D, you may need to buy a TV that supports 3D. This is a great idea from Sony and we get a slight glimpse of what game systems might be like in the future. Unfortunately, TVs haven’t advanced with the game systems so we all lose in the end.
