While most of the world watches TV or browses the internet when they’re bored, Tao Xiangli was busy putting together a submarine. Yes, an actual submarine. The 34-year-old man from China, took two years and about $4,85 (30,000 yuan) to put together the submarine. It has propellers, runs on an electric motor and even has a periscope and a depth control tank. It’s pretty cool that everyday people are building submarines and helicopters while many around the world just sit around and do absolutely nothing. (One more pic)
