ASUS has finally dropped it, their Eee Reader and they’re bringing a lot to the table. How does a dual screen eReader with the cheapest price available sound to you? That’s what ASUS is planning to have when they release their upcoming Eee Reader.
There are no specs on the device and no word on when it’ll be available but early on the price looks like it’ll be around $163. There’s word from company president, Jerry Shen, that there also might be a premium version, which will probably include features found on eReaders now, like 3G wireless, browser and bigger storage capacity. If ASUS can push a $163 eReader, they may have people snapping these up, especially with the dual screens, allowing people to read books or multi-task on multiple screens.
