Siemens has introduced a new stove that has taken a design out of the iPod playbook. Using magnets, the stove is able to increase and decrease the flame on the stove. The magnetic nobs are very similar to the touch wheel that many iPods sport. To make the stoves safe for children, Siemens allows the magnetic knobs to be removed, thus making the stove unusable.

It’s not available everywhere but it does make for an interesting design. The stove also sports a download manager drop box inbetween the knobs. That’s a pretty neat addition there.
