Apple’s iPod Event is almost here and you can expect a lot of coverage at the event. While most kids will be starting school and busy worrying about their first day, gadget freaks like myself will be sitting in front of my computer, looking to get the latest updates. But even before the event takes place, there are a few things we already know and will definitely be expecting tomorrow. Here’s a few of them:

- Steve Jobs will be there

The man is back at work and his every move is watched by fans, and rivals. Steve is notorious for his “one more thing” surprises, which might be good to have tomorrow. The only rumored device that even has a shot at being the “one more thing” is obviously the Apple Tablet, which probably won’t get any coverage because tomorrow is an iPod only event.

- No Tablet

Since tomorrow’s Apple Even is strictly for the iPod, the possibility of an Apple Tablet is very unlikely. But then again with Steve Jobs, you never know. He could probably announce the device, talk a little about it (maybe even has something to do with music) and then says will be available in a month or so. Not a bad way to get some press and build up anticipation before the holiday season.

-iPods with Camera

Everything points to the iPod Nano and iPod Touch getting a 3.1 megapixel camera, the same camera currently available in the iPhone 3GS. There’s also been rumors of the iPod Classic getting a camera, but the chance of that is highly unlikely.

Now with certainties also comes uncertainty, things that could happen but no one is really sure about.

- iTunes might be getting social networking features to share play lists with friends. There’s even been some talk about Blu-ray support in iTunes.

- There’s a new rumor from Apple Insider suggesting that the iPod release dates could be delayed. It bascially means, they’ll be announced but due to some technical issues, they won’t be available immediately like they normally are.

Tomorrow’s Apple Event should be a fun event. With Steve Jobs returning and the possibility of a new Apple Tablet announcement, the anticipation is building. Hopefully we’re not left disappointed.
