Sony should have introduced the Playstation 3 Slim a year ago and they would have been gold. According to the latest numbers, the Playstation 3 Slim has already sold over 150,000 in three days. That’s a sales jump of over 1,000 percent. Some still argue that it’s all about the price and it has nothing to do with the Slim. Whether or not it’s true, Sony has finally got some positive news about their Playstation 3 gaming console.

This is a pretty big deal for Sony and the gaming world. If Sony continues at this pace (probably won’t happen but you never know), they may give the Xbox 360 a run for its money. A new design with a price drop is exactly what consumers want and with the upcoming holiday season, expect the PS3 Slim to be at the top of “Wanted Gifts” across the world.
