Apple’s gold prize for yesterday’s show was the iPod Nano with its newly packed FM radio with Live Pause, the Voice Over feature, and of course the camera. When rumors began flying through Twitter and other social networking sites that the Nano had a camera, makers of the Flip released their own tiny camcorders. Apple is likely to wn in this game as they already possess a highly desired product and with an improvement like a camera, it’s sure to be a hit.

In yesterday’s annual iPod refresh, Apple held back with the iPod Touch by not including a camera and just giving it small updates. With the Nano’s new camera, Flip, Creative, and Vado will all be jumping on the bandwagon to create mini camcorders, possibly with music players. With this new update, it seems that Apple has opened up a whole new marketing scheme, and other companies are sure to follow along.
