It seems like AT&T is feeling generous towards a few folks about giving them MMS on their iPhones. MobileCrunch is reporting that a few people have contacted them saying that MMS option on their iPhones have been enabled and they were able to send out messages. These are iPhones that are not jailbroken or have been tampered with in any way.

If you’re iPhone has MMS enabled, let us know. Apparently it’s happening on a case by case basis and AT&T just has to turn on a “opt-out” switch. I’m still waiting for the service on mine. AT&T had originally planned to make MMS available on the iPhone on September 25th. It wouldn’t hurt to have it sooner.
