It seems like there are Apple rumors everyday now. Here’s the latest one: iMacs and Macbooks are going to be updated within weeks. Research firm Wedge Partners made the claim in the Tech Trader Daily column. The refresh is supposed to combat Windows 7 and netbooks by lowering prices on the Mac line of computers.
While this isn’t going to be a major refresh, it’s still worth noting the rumors point to an iMac with “thinner, organic design, likely with smoothed or rounded edges.” I’m curious to see how this new iMac is going to look although i doubt there would be any major changes to the Macbook line. Probably just an upgrade in the CPU, and extra HD capacity for a lower price. Stay tuned.
