Postal Worker Faces 5 Years in Jail For Stealing 3,000 Netflix DVD’s, Learn To Burn Idiot!

This is not so much gadget news but still funny, and very stupid on the part of a mailman. Myles Weathers, a 49-year-old postal worker is facing five years in prison for stealing over 3,000 Netflix DVDs from a Massachusetts distribution center. He was caught after video surveillance showed him stealing the DVD’s.

What my question is, why couldn’t this man just make the copies of the DVD’s and then just put them back. I know many people who burn their Netflix DVD’s on to their computers or through a DVD burner. It’s not a thing that requires much science. If you were planning to do this, you might as well think it through and come up with a good plan. Even if he were to take them, burn it and return it. I doubt many people would have noticed anyway. Most customers don’t really pay attention to the number of days between their Netflix DVDs, so another few days wouldn’t have really mattered. I guess Some people are just meant to do stupid things and then get caught in the process. What a shame.
