There are so many robots out in the world doing the simple tasks that we are too lazy to do. The latest robot helper is dubbed “Project Romeo”, which is being created to help the visually impaired and elderly. This project is in its early stages but the plan is to create a 1.2m ~ 1.5m two legged robot.

The project, scheduled for completion in 2011 will end with a 30 kg robot name Romeo, armed with helping ability. As you can see in the video (after the break), what looks like a cross between Megaman and a Panasonic toy, is actually a prototype, currently called Nao.
