We’ve recently heard about the stimulus plan for hospital records to go all electronic but one of the things we forgot was the medications prescribed in these hospitals. People often forget to take their medication because they are doing something that they think is more important. Well, a new technological advancement will benefit everyone and will electronically remind them to take their meds no matter where they are.

These pill bottle caps play jingles to remind you to take your meds and also has the ability to send you SMS alerts in order to tell you its time to take you medicine. This new system is still in its developmental stage although it is being supported by AT&T which means the SMS feature just may come true. There are currently no details on pricing although the electronic pill bottle caps are set for release soon.
