Beware Kindle! Here comes the new Barnes & Noble dual screened Nook ereader. This amazing, all black ereader is one of the few ereaders out on the market now that sports two screens. The screen on the bottom displays a variety of books while the top lets you read your book choice.
The Nook will definitely be giving the Kindle some competition, with the $259 price tag and the dual screens. The only thing that makes the Nook fall behind is the book selection from B&N, which is overshadowed by the thousands of books available in Amazon’s store. We’ll have to wait and see how the game plays out between these two ereaders. The Nook is expected to ship at the end of November for $259.
The Nook comes with 2GB of internal space, a MicroSD slot, MP3 Player, micro USB plug, a 3.5mm audio jack, an d the dual screens with a Vizplex e-ink display On the top and a 3.5 inch LCD on the bottom. Along with the standard ereader features such as bookmarking, notes, and highlighting, the Nook allows user to share books for 14 days at a time, which allows the books to be read on cellphones and computers as well.
