Google is on the brink of world domination. They already have Google Voice, the most prominent search engine in the world, and Google Wave. The latest creation from Google is going to change the way users access their music. Google’s newest project is a music sharing service that will allow users to search and download their favorite songs.
Many sources have released statements, saying that Google is currently working with major record labels in order to get this service out to the public and that the service will be called Google Audio. The Google service is expected to be very different from the Google music service that was recently launched in China.
This new service will be available to all U.S users, similar to all of Google’s services, although it is unclear whether the service is download only, streaming only, or both. Google’s new service will be introduced in partnership with iLike (recently acquired by MySpace) and Lala, which is expected to be announced as early as October 28th. The release of this new service is imminent and Google users should be getting ready to download and enjoy their music.
