Computers may not advance much in the next year or so, with the delay of USB 3.0 implementation. There has been an unconfirmed report that USB 3.0 in all Intel chipsets may be pushed back until early 2011. Without Intel’s initiative in getting USB 3.0 out there, manufacturers and gadget-makers will be lacking in the latest hardware, bringing any form of advancement to a grinding halt.

The reason for this delay? Intel is currently working on getting their new Nehalem chips out to computer manufacturers, so that when USB 3.0 is implemented, they can both work seamlessly. This report is currently unconfirmed, so we’ll keep you updated on any further word or information from Intel.
