Scientists rejoice! Here comes something that amateur scientists have been dreaming of since the creation of the microscope, a wireless, USB connected microscope. Well, it has arrived at last, and it puts a whole new twist on the phrase, portable microscope. All you need to do to use it is connect the base reciever to the USB connection in your computer, and you can go about scanning anything that is small enough to view in the scope.
Always make sure that the microscope is on the 2 meter mark so you don’t lose the focus. The magnification ranges from 20x to 200x, so it does a pretty good job of magnifying the subject. When you’re done exploring, the microscope will wireless report back to the base station, where the photos will be uploaded wirelessly. The microscope is compatible with Microsoft 2000, ME, XP, and Vista. The Wireless USB microscope runs on LI-ion batteries, has 8 LED lights to highlight the subject, and sells for a retail price of $140.
