Here is something very surprising, something that blew my mind when I saw it, a vending machine in Tokyo, for burgers. Now, this is an amazing idea and a tasty one at that. The land of the rising sun is being dominated by vending machines, dispensing anything from t-shirts, all the way to cigarettes and Coca Cola on credit.
Aside from all of these other items, burgers are the latest to be dispensed from the machinery inside. Inserting 100 Yen into the red vending machine will get you a Tateishi burger. If that doesn’t peak your interest, then insert 300 Yen into an orange vending machine to get a Tateishi Royal burger. When I saw the video, I was amazed by how the machine worked but kept asking myself how the burgers inside stay fresh until I figured out that the whole thing was a spoof. The machine is secretly operated by a chef inside the restaurant, who cooks an inserts the burgers, controlling them with a string. Check out the video of the “vending machine” in use.
