Peek is a fairly new company, and with any new company comes trial and error, eventually leading to success. The Peek, an email and messaging only device was created by Amol Sarva when he realized that his pregnant wife wanted a simple device, without all of the bells and whistles attached. When Peek was first released, it became a big hit, users didn’t have to worry about monthly bills and minutes, it was everything for a lump one time fee.
Peek’s newest release crosses into the lines of social networking, the new TwitterPeek, completely dedicated to users who like to constantly be connected to Twitter without having to worry about an Internet connection (Only Twitter, No email). But the question that has been on every one’s mind is where Peek is going. Well, I’ll tell you, keep reading. As mentioned before, Peek is a fairly new company which means that their one time fee may eventually become a monthly thing when the Peek begins to carry out multiple functions.
Peek is on the cusp of popularity which means that they already have fair amount of customers who are willing to pay extra to own their device. Eventually, we’ll begin to see Peek include Facebook and Google but one thing we definitely won’t see is any form of touchscreen. So, while the rest of the popular mobile devices get touchscreen, Peek will probably be the only one who doesn’t. Why, you may ask? Peek is a simple device, made for those who want to get away from all of the headaches of a smartphone. Simplicity is the key to Peek’s future, and they have already kicked it off with a good head start.
