Are you a shower singer? You know, one of those people whose singing voice sounds ten times better in the bathroom thanks to the weird acoustic properties? Yeah, me too. In my head and in my bathroom, I swear I sound like Mary J. Blige or Anita Baker.
To keep our delusional warbling in the vicinity of the bathroom, Sharper Image has just unveiled its latest product. The Sharper Image MP3 Wireless Speaker Fog Free Shower Mirror was made specifically for commode canaries like myself. The mirror comes with four 1.25-inch built-in speakers packing 2W of sound. Don’t worry about your shower or bath water raining on the mirror’s parade, it’s totally waterproof. Thanks to the suction cups on the back you can hang it up in the shower, so you can keep track of the time using the integrated clock or just look at yourself rocking out to your favorite song.
The mirror comes with a wireless dock for your decidedly not waterproof MP3 player. The dock works within 100 feet of the mirror ensuring your precious music stays nice and dry. The dock can be powered either by four AA batteries or plugging it into an outlet using the included AC cord. The mirror gets its juice solely from four AAs. Continually having to buy batteries can be a drain on your wallet as well as the environment, so The Sharper Image designers were clever enough to make sure that the dock also pulls double duty as a charging dock for up to four batteries at a time.
Retailing for $69.99, the MP3 Wireless Speaker Fog Free Shower Mirror is a great way to live out those dreams of “American Idol” stardom in the embarrassment-free privacy of your own home.
