If you’re the proud owner of a jailbroken iPhone and have yet to change the root password, I have but one question for you: What in the hell are you waiting for? Apparently, another iPhone virus has been discovered since the ikee virus that was infecting phones left and right in the “land down under.”

If you recall, the ikee virus was more of a playful prank/public service announcement. According to Boy Genius Report, his new digital delinquent isn’t so warm and fuzzy. Instead of having your iPhone’s wallpaper replaced with Rick Astley, the modified version of the ikee virus secretly takes your email, text messages, photos, music files, calendar contacts, etc. and ferry them off to parts unknown.

No word on who this new hacker is or where all the data is being sent to. The threat of infection is pretty low, but at this point in the game, if you haven’t changed that password by now, you kind of deserve what you get. Seriously folks, change those passwords!

How safe is your iPhone? Let us know in the comments section.
