AT&T is already straining from the data usage of the iPhone but now they are looking to broaden their horizons with a flash of new products that will put even more pressure on their networks. AT&T is currently working with Dell to introduce their newest device, the Dell MID. Dubbed the Dell Streak, the device will feature 3G services for a great internet experience and will use Android software (wow, the Android platform really is going around).
The Dell Streak was released in Korea earlier this year and features an Android platform, WiFi, and a 5 megapixel camera. The Dell Streak may be a breakthrough device if it is introduced the right way and how willing AT&T is to support all the needs of Dell’s Internet device. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing or availability for the rest of the world, only in Korea.
