Motorola seems to be all over the place these days, releasing one handset after another. Recently, Motorola released the DROID which did a good job of using the Android platform to fight off the iPhone and the new HTC Hero. Now, Motorola is planning another one. While this one doesn’t seem like one of those ‘killer phones’, it does have a good price point and decent features which makes it a great Christmas present. The newest phone, is dubbed the Crush, which seems a little ironic because that’s what Motorola is trying to do its competitors. The Crush, an EV-DO Rev.0 device, comes with a 2.8” touchscreen (240 x 400 pixels), 2 megapixel camera, virtual on-screen QWERTY keypad, Stereo Bluetooth for connectivity and even a 3.5mm handsfree port.

The images do seem a little wierd though because of how it looks like its upside down and yes, the phone does have buttons on top which is one of the only bad things about this phone. The Crush also has some pretty cool features, like Tap to silence (pretty standard), a pedometer, MicroSD support for up to 16GB, and a 950 mAh battery which Motorola claims gives 4.5 hours of talk time. Unfortnately, Motorola does not provide pricing or availability, it did release a short statement- “With the Motorola Crush, enjoy a high-end design, excellent call quality and multimedia features, all at an affordable price”.
