Union Square has just recieved its first technological guest, their new flagship BestBuy store that is open 24 hours a day. If you’re in the neighborhood and want to buy that new Blu-Ray player you’ve been eyeing, then you can pick it up here. This will be the first Best-Buy in the world that is open 24 hours a day and carries every major tech brand. Apparently, BestBuy stores across the country also carry musical instruments now, about 80 stores nationwide. Yeah, we were surprised too. They also carry a full DJ section with live sound equipment.

At this particular store and others around the country, performers such as 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, will.i.am, and Rihanna will be playing live and showing off the new instruments that BestBuy carries. It seems BestBuy is becoming a music venue, bringing people from all around for performances right in the lobby of their local BestBuy. Who knew BestBuy concerts are popular these days?
