Was anyone surprised by the results from the Call Of Duty sales results? It was reported that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 brought in $3 billion dollars in sales for Activision. The game has hit a new benchmark in terms of sales for a video game, as well as number of copies sold. It hasn’t even been a full month and the game has broken all kinds of records.

On release week, it made over $555 million in 5 days, which is remarkable and sold the most copies during its first week of release. Although the nature of the game is extremely graphic, it still got positive reviews from critics en route to 55 million copes sold. That number is sure to increase after the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday seasons.
